We are currently looking for a **Payroll Administrator** to join us at our M&S site in Thorncliffe. Here you will be responsible for the administration of the companies’ time and attendance system, facilitating the team to deliver a timely andaccurate payroll service.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30, however should you prefer there is the option to work 08:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to **£23,000** per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Act as first point of contact for employees regarding all things payroll, dealing with pay queries and taking the time to understand the issue, whilst liaising with relevant parties to rectify the problem
- Run monthly payroll and do adequate checks before submitting for approval
- Ensure payroll records are accurate and processed in line with company standards
- Effectively communicate with relevant stakeholders, responding appropriately to all communications in a professional and timely manner

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience in a fast-paced payroll environment
- An ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- A collaborative and friendly approach supported by excellent communication skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
