**Credit Controller**

**Rutherglen, Glasgow - Hybrid remote 2 days at home per week**

**Permanent, Monday-Thursday 8:30-4, Friday 9-3**

**£23,500** + 1 hour paid lunch + 26 days holiday plus bank holidays + 6% pension + enhanced maternity pay

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and driven Credit Controller to join a rapidly growing/well-established organisation.

Our client is a not-for-profit financial institution, whose goal is to give back to the local community by providing ethical finance to those in need. Established for 31 years, they serve people who work in various communications and shipping companies.

**The role**
- Day-to-day responsibilities_
- Working as part of a team to handle new and existing accounts in the credit control system
- Daily assessment of member accounts and actioning credit control procedures
- Responding to member queries and negotiating payment plans
- Liaising with external debt collection agencies
- Responding to proposals from insolvency practitioners
- Monitoring/processing payments received for members in the credit control system

**The Person**
- Minimum 1 year of credit control experience
- Some B2C credit control experience
- Empathic nature
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Good interpersonal skills
- Committed to ethical financial values
- Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative
- Ability to work well as part of a team

**Salary**: £23,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rutherglen, Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- B2C Credit Control: 1 year (preferred)
- credit control: 1 year (preferred)
