A fantastic and well known Logistics group are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor based out of their offices in Spalding. You'll be accountable for the Purchase Ledger including the accurate and timely processing and payment of all invoices andensuring service standards as well as company procedures are adhered to at all times by continually monitoring administration processes. Supervising a team of purchase ledger clerks, you will proactively manage team performance, identifying areas of developmentand supporting in line with succession and development plans. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. We're looking for an organised person that's able to prioritise work to achieve tight deadlines in a faced paced environment.

Other key responsibilities will include:

- Deal with Supplier enquiries in a professional, timely and informative manner
- Proactively engage with all departments and colleagues at all levels to ensure that invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Approve invoices via company purchase order system
- Posting of payments and journals
- Generating weekly payments
- Assisting and supplying information to auditors for annual audit
- Monitoring of claim invoices
- Continuously review processes and procedures, recommending and implementing improvements
- Train all internal users with regards to company purchase order system & processes
- Manage the team including workload distribution and delegation
- Develop the team by completing Padp's / Ladders
- Provide cover for the Working Capital Process Manager

**Requirements**:

- 5 years Purchase Ledger experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role
- Able to demonstrate a track record of delivering process improvements
- Strong team player with the ability to communicate and influence all levels
- High level of numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience within the FMCG Industry would be beneficial
