Newstaff Employment Services are recruiting for a Probate Executive to join a successful and progressive company.

Main duties:

- Assisting with the estate administration process, including preparing letters and forms to close accounts and sell shares.
- Liaising with HMRC, HMCTS and third parties, as required.
- Comfortable with liaising with clients and third parties but identifies and refers any technical queries to partners, directors, or managers.
- Assisting with the preparation of trust and estate tax returns and beneficiary statements R185 for the administration period and 60 Day UK Property CGT returns. Full training can and will be provided, if there is a desire to learn this skill.

IT Skills:
Experience required:

- A basic understanding of inheritance tax, computations, and the probate process.
- Experience of preparing estate accounts desirable but not necessary. Full training can and will be provided, if there is a desire to learn this skill.
- Ability to work in a small, friendly team with mínimal supervision.
- Organised, keeps track of deadlines and follows up on correspondence, where no response.
- Experience of using Excel.
- Excellent IT skills and a willingness to adapt and evolve in this digital age.
- Shows initiative and seeks help with any potential issues identified.
- Motivated, resilient with a positive outlook and willingness to learn and develop.

Monday to Friday 37.5 hour week, flexi-hours, Pension, Private Health and other excellent benefits.

**Salary**:£25,000 pa to £35,000 pa depending on skills / experience
