**What will I be doing?**
We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset - and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve: - Being a proactive and reliable assistant caretaker, helping to assist our customers and staff team in providing a safe and welcoming library environment. - Working with the operations, development and facilities teams to ensure the building is functioning properly, setting up the library for daily events, activities and meetings. Opening and securing the building. Cleaning duties are part of this role. - Patrolling the library, transporting goods and undertaking minor DIY repairs. - Please note: Weekend working (alternate Saturday’s) is an essential part of this role.
