**What We Are Looking For**

We’re searching for a resourceful and enthusiastic FinCrime Operations Team Lead, whose main responsibility is to lead the First Line FinCrime Operations function which will be appropriate for a growing regulated organisation.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Leading first Line day to day operations of Blackthorn’s First Line FinCrime functions including: performance management, process improvements and FinCrime checks.
- Sanctions/PEP/Enforcement Screening
- Act as an escalation point for team queries, including reporting suspicious activity, exiting accounts, and reviewing transaction monitoring alerts
- Proactively identify financial crime trends through data analysis
- Support second line in the optimisation and update of existing processes, systems, and procedures
- Act as a line manager for the first line FinCrime team.
- Produce Management Information for the business.
- Lead scaling of the team in line with business growth.
- Understand Blackthorn’s systems and processes; and cascade the latest updates, alerts and notifications to your team
- Be responsible for scheduling daily and monthly rotas to ensure all workloads are completed within agreed upon SLA’s.
- Contribute to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements with a view to enhancing current processes.
- Track completion of agreed actions until resolution.

**Requirements**:

- Experience and expertise in a wide range of aspects of the Financial Crime function - EDD, Complex Structures, complex products - crypto-gaming, brokerage.
- Excellent communication and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
