We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant / Pot Wash. This position is seasonal with the opportunity for it to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Dishwashing: Responsible for washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashers or by hand as needed. Ensuring all items are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized to maintain high standards of hygiene.

2. Kitchen Support: Assist kitchen staff with various tasks including food preparation, chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes. Follow recipes and instructions provided by the chef to ensure consistency and quality.

3. Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen area including countertops, floors, equipment, and appliances. Adhere to sanitation and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.

4. Stock Management: Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies, detergents, and kitchen utensils. Notify supervisors when supplies are running low to ensure uninterrupted operations.

5. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

6. Adherence to Regulations: Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food, as well as compliance with sanitation standards set by regulatory authorities.

7. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the business.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £9.00-£11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
