This is a full time and permanent position working Monday to Friday over 51 weeks.

The nursery is conveniently located and easily accessible by public transport.

**Role Description**:
As a Baby Room Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-2 years. Your role will involve creating a safe and stimulating environment, planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, and building strong relationships with both children and their parents. You will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of nursery staff, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for babies and young children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote children's development.
- Build strong relationships with children and their parents, ensuring effective communication and partnership.
- Supervise and mentor a team of nursery staff, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Collaborate with other room leaders and the nursery management team to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

**Requirements**:

- Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with babies and young children.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children.

**Salary and Benefits**:
The salary range for this position is £26,000-£28,000 per annum.
