**£25,000 - £34,000 Per annum**

Our client, is recruiting for an enthusiastic tool maker to join their team.

**Toolmaker roles and responsibilities**:

- Work to issued drawings for creating new tooling
- Repair and maintain high speed multistage progression tools for production
- Maintain the tools to ensure their longevity
- Preventative maintenance of all aspects of machining and bench fitting e.g., turning mills and grinding
- Testing tooling before use
- Observe and asses the remaining lifespan of a press tool to ensure new parts can be ordered
- Utilization of precision/ optical measuring equipment to maintain tooling
- Replace pilots, probe pins, springs, designing and making special fixtures
- Abide by health and safety requirements

**The ideal Toolmaker will have**:

- A keen eye for detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Problem solving skills
