Legacy Mentor

Are you a registered nurse with significant experience of working in a clinical setting? Would you love to share your clinical expertise, breadth of knowledge and most of all your passion with other health and social care professionals who are in the early stages of their careers? We can all reflect on the importance of mentors and role models in our own careers, and this is an opportunity to have that kind of invaluable influence on the incoming generation as they set out on a career in health and care.

Sirona care & health is therefore excited to recruit a number of Legacy Mentors into our organisation. These newly created roles will suit experienced health and social care professionals in the late stages of their career. The role will entail helping newly qualified nurses, midwives, AHPs and those other clinical staff in early career by imparting your knowledge, skills and experience through coaching, ensuring relevant groups of staff feel better supported and helping them to remain in our organisation during their early careers and beyond.

You will help ensure consistency and best practice, bridging the gap between academic and clinical settings for newly appointed colleagues and providing additional support for students during their placements. This will ultimately help to ensure a positive experience in their early career and assist with building confidence, enhanced learning outcomes and the sense of belonging within teams and the wider organisation.
