Employee Relations Specialist
Bridgewater, Somerset (Hinkley Point NNB)
£72,000 to £74,000 salary (dependent upon recent relevant experience)

As Employee Relations Specialist, you will create and deliver people practices which develops and maintains a positive working relationships between the Project Team, the Company and its people. Working closely with unions and employee representatives, you'llimplement fair and transparent. You'll be aware that different working environments create different challenges and you'll be managing the touch points for all industrial relations.
You will be familiar with:

- The impact change in working practices can have on the workforce
- The drivers of change (internal and external)
- Liaison and with employee bodies, trade unions and other stakeholders
- How employment law is translated into practice
Your responsibilities will be:

- Create and then implement Project People strategy and policies
- Lead forums and implementation events, to communicate the Project People strategies
- Maximise engagement in the Project People strategies
- Liaise with and where appropriate, negotiate with trade bodies and trade unions
- Dealing with complex cases, such as disciplinary grievances and appeals
- Organisational design
You will have
- Significant Industrual Relations / Employee Relations experience
- Professional CIPD or equivalent Degree or Higher Level qualification in a relevant discipline
- Proven ability to liaise and negotiaate with trade bodies or trade unions
- Ability to work in the Bridgewater / Hinkley Point construction footprint without restriction
