**Head of International Cyber MGA**

Would you like to build and run a market-leading Cyber underwriting business? We are recruiting a leader who will be responsible for developing Aon’s Cyber MGA proposition with the aim of producing pioneering client solutions and a sustainably profitable portfolio for our carrier partners. The MGA will be targeting mid-market clients who are domiciled around the world.

This is a strategic initiative for Aon, with sponsorship from the highest level and will benefit from being able to draw on Aon’s extensive Cyber Solutions capabilities, broking and client knowledge, actuarial and exposure management teams as well as the opportunity to develop other proprietary tools.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work from our London office and virtually

**What the day will look like**

As the Head of International Cyber MGA your responsibilities will include;
- To drive the design and build of a market leading MGA business utilising the strength of Aon’s world class cyber capabilities in placement, risk management and response
- Contribute to the detailed planning of the submission process to ensure the best outcomes for clients and carriers
- Lead on the design and execution of the underwriting and claims process
- Build out a world-class underwriting team in accordance with an approved business plan
- Contribute towards the broader development of the Cyber Solutions strategy
- Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework

**How this opportunity is different**

The Cyber MGA will be part of Aon’s UK based MGA business unit which trades as Aon Underwriting Managers (AUM). AUM is one of the largest organically grown multiline MGAs in the UK, focussing on writing specialty and P&C business on behalf of Lloyd’s and Company market capital partners. AUM has ambitious growth plans which benefit from being able to draw on Aon’s united and collaborative approach to providing the best client solutions.

The AUM business model is designed to enable underwriters and underwriting managers to focus on what they do best; by providing a full infrastructure of business, analytical, operational and risk management capabilities to underwriting teams to enable them to outperform the market.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- Proven experience within underwriting and Cyber
- Knowledge of how to lead a business including strategy, planning, exposure profiling and budgeting
- Strong knowledge of MGA business including Delegated Authority management, Lloyd’s and Company markets
- A sufficient understanding of operational considerations, financial and fiduciary processes, and management information requirements to drive the growth of a successful MGA
- Able to establish excellent working relationships with brokers and insurers
- Experienced in leadership and management of teams and stakeholders
- Well-developed knowledge of FCA requirements and standards
