**Driver role**

The role of a collection and delivery driver is to deliver high quality services and be the face and voice of the Werrens Bedford team.

Your actions will influence the customer experience and their satisfaction during their repair journey in line with the Werrens
- Bedford’s customer service standards. Your customer interactions may cover a wide range of situations and can include; face-to-face, telephone,

**Skills we are looking for from a Driver**

Use a range of questioning skills, including listening and responding in a way that builds rapport, determines customer needs and expectations and achieves positive engagement.

Use appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication skills, along with summarising language during face-to-face communications,

Use an appropriate ‘tone of voice’ in all communications, including written and digital, that reflect our organisation’s brand,

Provide clear explanations and offer options in order to help customers make choices that are mutually beneficial to both the customer and our organisation,

Maintain informative communication with customers,

Build trust with our customers

Understand the customer’s point of view,

Understand types of measurement and evaluation tools available to monitor customer service levels to constantly improve our service

Have the ability to manage a diary for time keeping

Be able to handle a trailer and car combination

**What we are offering as a package**

Basic salary **£ 23,000** plus performance bonus

29 days paid holiday (including bank holidays)

7.30 to 5pm Monday to Friday

performance bonus scheme for the ote,

Training and progression in the business,

Overtime is available on request,

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,404.00-£23,298.00 per year

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bedford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
