**Salary : £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience**

This particular role is at our Bakkavor Bread site based in Barton-Upon-Humber, close to the Humber Bridge. This factory specialises in making chilled speciality baguettes at high volumes and employs over 150 people. This site is located 14 miles from Hull, 16 miles from Scunthorpe and 24 miles from Grimsby.
**The role**
This an exciting new opportunity for an experienced SHE Advisor to join the Bakkavor Barton Bread team. This is a great opportunity for a highly capable SHE Advisor to take responsibility for all SHE related accountabilities at Bakkavor Barton Bread. We are looking for our next ‘Proud to be Bakkavor’ colleague to instil a Health and Safety people focus culture, drive Health and Safety best practices and build lasting relationships with colleagues and management with a strong onsite presence.
In co-operation with the management team your key responsibilities will be to;
- Ensure that the requirements of all relevant SHE legislation are followed and implemented, and that the Business complies with corporate and legal requirements at all times.
- Ensure a positive and constructive SHE culture is prevalent throughout the Business.
- Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices year on year.
**All About You**
- NEBOSH General certificate with aspirations to achieve or on course to achieve NEBOSH LEVEL 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health OR NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management or equivalent or working towards an environmental equivalent qualification.
- Proven track record of delivering H&S improvements and managing SHE function at manufacturing sites.
- Proven experience of interaction with enforcement bodies and authorities.
- Passionate about SHE to effectively engage with and influence people at all levels to facilitate change.
- The ability to present information coherently, accurately and persuasively.
- PC literate
- Experience within food manufacturing, advanced Food Hygiene Certificate & good understanding of GMP/hygiene standards
