We are currently recruiting for multi drop drivers (No experience needed) to work on one of our main contracts for a leading logistics company. This is a full time / self employed contract, we are seeking individuals who are hard working in a fast paced environment delivering parcels and great customer experience.

We are a well established family run business looking for drivers to join our expanding team. Jdot Couriers is run by husband and wife Wayne and Helen Woods who started Jdot in 2018. We both had experience in working for another company in the same environment so decided to set up on our own. We are extremely passionate about what we do. We have an outstanding fleet at our disposal. In 2.5 yrs we have gone from just the two of us with 5 drivers to over 90 staff working with us to delver that great customer experience. We also like to give a bit back to the community by sponsoring local football teams, darts teams and rugby teams.

All our vehicles are less than two years old and we also have a fleet manager for any immediate issues if needed so all our drivers have safe working vehicles to enable them to work in a safe manor. All our vehicles are also tracked and we have support 24/7 while you are out on the road. You will use a mobile device during your working hours in order to stay connected and provide technology to navigate your routes and gat any delivery instructions from customers. All parcels are pre-sorted ready to load onto your van.

We welcome self motivated and enthusiastic people to join our team. No experience necessary. Your daily responsibilities' will be to load your van and deliver parcels, driving and stepping in and out of the van safely. Adhere to all road safety regulations., operate a GPS device and interact with customers in a polite and professional manor.

If successful you will be contacted by our recruitment manager and invited in for interview. Once this stage is completed the next step will be to have an induction virtually then you will be ready to start delivering for us. At this stage you will then have a ride along with an experienced driver. Once this is complete and you are comfortable to go out on your own you will be ready to start your first route. You will be full supported 24/7 while you are out on the road.

- You must have a clear CRB check.
- You must pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
- You must be able to work 5 out of 7 days this will include some weekends.
- You must hold a Valid UK Licence with no more than 6 points. DD, DR or IN on your licence cannot be accepted.
- must be over 25
- must have been driving for 12 months if uk, 2 years if none uk licence.
- Be able to use stairs to deliver packages.
- be able to lift parcels up to 23kg
- You must provide proof of Goods for Hire and Reward/Courier and Goods in Transit and Public Liability Insurance if you have your own van.
- We can provide a van and insurance if you do not have your own.
- Approximate working hours is 9 hours a day.

You will be required to have the initiative to work on your own and sometimes as part of a team, you will also need to have excellent customer service skills.

This job is for 5 out of 7 days, but we are flexible with days off that you require.

We pay £130 / £145 per day plus there is also a team bonus incentive. We also pay planned route mileage.

We will supply support if needed from a professional accountancy service who specialize in drivers needs.
