**About the role**:
Have you recently graduated from university and are interested in a career in teaching? Would you like paid experience in a local school? Vision for Education are looking for new talent to join our expanding team of Teaching Assistants to join our agency working across Lancashire.

Vision for Education are looking to recruit graduates who are perhaps looking to gain more experience and confidence across the Key Stage 1 & 2 setting to prepare them for their PGCE year. The graduate can either work on a day-to-day, short
- or long-term basis depending on the teaching assistants’ preference.

This will give you a key insight into the expectations and requirements that are to be an effective teacher in the future. Furthermore, this will allow you to experience a variety of schools and year groups which will help determine the PGCE course that is right for you and also which year group you are most effective in.

Responsibilities within the graduate teaching assistant role include providing..
- Supporting groups of children/individuals to help them with their learning.
- Support the classroom teacher in assessing the needs of the children.
- To assist in the daily routine of the classroom.
- Observing, recording and providing feedback on pupil performance.
- To assist in creating materials for curriculum delivery and display boards.
- Assist with behaviour management within and outside the classroom.
- To take safeguarding seriously and be observant and follow the schools safeguarding policy.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Have a desire to support children with their learning.
