**Mortgage Processor**
**Salary: £22,541 per annum**
**Hours: Full time - 35 hours**
**Contract: Permanent**
**Location: Hybrid Working (Head Office, West Bromwich)**
The Mortgage Processor will have the passion to deliver and provide excellent customer service to ensure the applicants requirements are taken into consideration whilst balancing this against our operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- To process a range of supporting documentation within agreed policy, achieving required effectiveness and accuracy objectives and with agreed service levels
- Adherence to all audit and FCA requirements
- Contribute to the requirements of the Society’s Risk Framework by escalating up the line any identified risks
- Provide a high quality customer focussed service with mínimal complaints.
- Adapt effectively and quickly to system changes, policy developments to ensure knowledge areas are always current.
- Ensure that the Rules and Guidance within the FSA's Mortgage Conduct of Business (MCOB) is complied with
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- Minimum Society education standards - 4 GCSE’s (including Maths and English) or relevant qualifications
- Good level of PC skills, including Word and Excel
- Customer service or administration experience, preferably in the mortgage sector
- Ability to work effectively as a member of the team4
- Able to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing with a variety of different audiences
- High standard of attention to detail, personal motivation and initiative Effective time management, ability to prioritise workloads, the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
