We are currently looking to recruit a **Service Controller / Administrator** based at our North East location in Birtley. County Durham.

As well as a tail lift repair dealer for most leading manufactures.

You will be working as part of a team in the efficient day to day running of the service department, duties will include the following:

- Taking telephone calls from customers and engineers.
- Recording details of breakdowns and services, organising engineer’s attendance and following customer’s procedures in relation to the repair / service of their equipment.
- Preparing quotes to gain authorisation for any work & parts required
- Liaising with the Parts department to arrange shipment of parts to sites for engineers
- Tracking work to keep customers informed of the progress and charges.
- Data input, including processing engineers work orders and time sheets on a daily basis
- Able to provide high quality, excellent customer care and front line support to both customers and colleagues in the team.
- Have a confident Telephone Manner & be computer literate
- Experience in a service environment would be an advantage but not essential.

- Working Hours, Monday - Friday 8.30 - 17.30 hours (40 Hours per week)
- 23 Days Annual Holiday (this will increase with time served) and all Bank Holidays

- Salary negotiable depending on experience
