The Pursuit Group are currently looking for a Service advisor to join our client a major transport and logistics business based in Gloucester.

The service advisor would work closely with customers to book in service and repair bookings within the workshop environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and provide them with exceptional customer service
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document them
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs or maintenance
- Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Process customer payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service history

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Advisor or in the automotive industry is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate with technicians and customers
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills for processing payments
- Ability to upsell additional services or products to meet customer needs

**Salary**: £26,828.00-£27,904.00 per year
