Hours: 37.5 hours a week (5 days a week)

**Salary**: £25,000 p.a.

Are you an enthusiastic and self motivated person looking to deliver an excellent experience for all visitors and staff to Bore Place?

We are seeking a Caretaker/Handyperson to carry out buildings and grounds maintenance duties at Bore Place, a 500-acre organic farm estate in West Kent providing a unique venue with sustainability at its heart. The estate is home to a charity delivering programmes for young people, public and private events and courses, as well a home for complementary rural businesses.

The purpose of this role is to work as part of our friendly and hard-working team to provide the day-to-day maintenance and care of our buildings and grounds.

We are looking for a problem-solving, well-organised person who will embrace the Bore Place ethos and can demonstrate practical skills, a commitment to high standards, a self-starter with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities will include completing site maintenance tasks, maintaining the general upkeep of the grounds and buildings to ensure they are safe and meeting the needs of visitors and residents.

Bore Place is home to the Commonwork Trust, an educational and sustainability charity supporting young people. We are looking for people sympathetic to our values and aims who are comfortable promoting the overall mission of Bore Place to colleagues and visitors.

Due to our remote rural location, you would need to you to have your own transport and be able to drive.
