My client is a Global Investment Bank with a very strong UK team, with a broad sector coverage across all its product teams. Their highly successful corporate finance team is looking to boost its strength by hiring an associate or a senior associate.

The Corporate Finance team provides a full range of corporate advisory and broking services, guiding clients through transactions such as raising capital, making acquisitions, providing market and sector intelligence.

The Associate role provides constant exposure to the UK equity capital markets including corporate clients, other advisers and, where appropriate, institutional investors across the healthcare universe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support in the execution of corporate finance transactions, pitch book prep/oversight and marketing efforts
- Supporting the senior team wherever possible with analysis, research and due diligence
- Oversight of junior analysts
- Preparing, building and reviewing financial models and valuation models for potential corporate client opportunities
- Drafting relevant corporate finance and related transactional documentation, project management and due diligence work streams
- Day-to-day liaison with corporate clients regarding stock market trends and developments
- Advising clients on the impact of AIM Rules, Listing Rules and the Takeover Code
- Liaising with the relevant regulatory bodies on the behalf of corporate clients
- Day-to-day liaison with corporate clients regarding stock market trends and developments
- Have an understanding of the regulatory environment, and values and abilities consistent with the FCA conduct rules

**Key skills required**:

- Strong communication/ team working skills, strong project management, accurate modelling and proven analytical skills and be able to work autonomously whilst multi-tasking (intraday).
- Either a minimum of 2 years of UK ECM transactional experience on top of an ACA qualification, or 4 years in a pure UK investment banking environment
- A keen interest in UK Capital Markets
- Strong numerical, analytical and project management skills
- Demonstrable drive and determination - a self-starter
- Competitive nature, demonstrable high achiever
- High inter-personnel skills to work in/ across multidisciplinary teams and departments as well as with other professional advisers, clients and regulators.
- Strong moral compass combined with appreciation/ acceptance of Regulatory adherence, compliance oversight and conduct enforcement.
- A minimum of a 2.1 degree or equivalent from a top University
