Financial analysis of companies in target, analysis will include maintaining and updating comparable company trading analysis and transaction analysis
- Assume responsibility for monitoring targeted clients in terms of news and announcements
- Support on transactions across the banks products. Such support may include maintaining financial models, coordinating due diligence, managing working group lists and timetables
- Research on companies and industries and support on client initiatives including generating and developing new ideas to present
- Formulate and develop client pitch-books and analysis in addition to supporting other bankers within the team
- Build direct cross functional relationships with bankers in product and regional business units

**The Team**
- Bank of America’s EMEA FIG team sits within our highly successful global Financial Institutions Group and is one of the largest teams covering financial institutions in EMEA as well as one of the largest sector and product teams on the BofA platform in the region. We cover all areas of the financial institutions space such as banks, insurers, asset managers, leasing & specialty finance companies, market infrastructure providers and FinTech / InsurTech companies. The team continuously originates and executes M&A, ECM, DCM and leveraged finance transactions for clients in these verticals. Our holistic focus on the entire breadth of the financial institutions sector and the full suite of products offered by BofA to its corporate and investment banking clients provides junior bankers with an excellent opportunity to develop a well-rounded skills set and build a strong foundation for a successful long-term career in banking and finance.
- Our 60+ strong team in EMEA is led by Giorgio Cocini (Co-Global Head of Financial Institutions) and 10 managing directors. Many of our senior team members have been with the firm for a significant period of time, providing important business continuity and helping to maintain the team’s strong collaborative and inclusive culture.
- There is a strong focus on junior banker development with both formal and informal training available to analysts and associates in the team. Our junior bankers are managed by dedicated MD-level line managers and a dedicated development officer. Additionally, the team has existing mentor and a buddy programmes in place to provide the right support structure for our junior bankers.

**Core skills**:

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills as well as proficient level of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Meticulous attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Capable of working effectively both independently and with multiple teams/individuals
- Fluency in English is essential and a second European language a plus
- Educated to degree level (preferably in a numerical discipline such as economics or finance)
