We are looking for a Head of Design for our Clothing & Home division to head up our Menswear category. Reporting into the Menswear Director, this person will work alongside the other Heads of (Buying, Merchandising, Tech and Retail) to design outstanding product to delight our customer for our retail stores and online offering.

**About the Role**:
**Job purpose**
- To create the Global Product Vision and lead the Product Strategy for Menswear
- To manage, inspire and nurture a team of Design leads and Designers to design brilliant a Menswear product offering

**Key accountabilities**
- Deliver global product direction through seasonal Design Briefs
- Drive and promote a forward thinking, collaborative culture that puts the customer at the heart of all product development across Menswear. Share design directions, best practice and identify new opportunities to deliver cohesive looks for the customer.
- Deliver all Design processes to BU critical path dates, from vision through to tech pack.
- Deliver product messages with PR as Design spokesperson for Menswear. Provide the creative product direction for press shows.

**About you**:

- Expert in the field of Design with significant experience with a major retailer, including a Design leadership position
- Significant experience in understanding brand strategy/vision creation and delivery
- Significant knowledge of the global market, supply base and competitors with the ability to identify product opportunities.
- Ability to lead, coach and manage teams and individuals
- Lead a trading culture within Menswear, identifying product opportunities to deliver the right product at the right time
- Drive strong relationships with our Sourcing Office teams and Suppliers to build effective working relationships
- Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines while maintaining creative flair and entrepreneurialism
