37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:45 and Friday 07:30 to 12:00

Project engineer sought now for a fast growing and busy specialised electrical manufacturer, offering personal investment in training and development with a long-term career development potential

This role will suit a project manager or project engineer from an engineering/manufacturing background with experience on design software such as CAD, Harnware, Visio or other design related software being advantageous. You will also have a solid understandingof electrical and technical drawings.

The role of the project engineer will be to liaise with clients frequently on their specifications, providing accurate quotations, improvement recommendations, designs and to oversee the product in production. Following this, you will be reporting to theengineering manager with updates on projects and production of products. You will liaise with suppliers for parts whilst ensuring budgets are not exceeded and profit margins are met.

The company are approaching 40 years of trading and have experienced significant growth in this time, they now have a modern centralised facility in Swindon for all manufacturing. They provide great service in designing and manufacturing electrical solutionsfor aerospace, defence, marine and commercial markets.

The role in brief:
*Provide detailed specifications for client and production team

*Liaise with clients and colleagues during production process

*Design, quote and improve products to specific specifications

The person required:
*Experience in project management

*A good understanding of electrical, engineering, and technical drawings

*Knowledge of CAD, Harnware, Visio or other design software packages

*Customer liaison experience
