We are looking for a Family Support Worker in Children’s Centre Services in Nottinghamshire working within the Bassetlaw District. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of our multi-disciplinary teams delivering early help and preventative services to families with children under 5 years.
The vacancy is based at Hallcroft Children's Centre Retford, although the expectation is that the role will involve working across the Bassetlaw District Children’s Centre Services.
Children’s Centres Services are committed to delivering both universal services and targeted services to families in need.
The Family Support Worker will work under the supervision of the Child and Family Support Lead and be line managed by the Children’s Centre Coordinator.
The role involves delivering 1:1 support work and facilitating parenting courses with individual children and their families. This could be in one of our Children's Centre buildings, in family homes, community settings or local schools, etc.
