Smallbutcool Chartered Accountants is a small friendly accountancy practice, based in Warwick, that provides outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services to businesses using cloud-based Xero software.

We are looking to hire a Bookkeeper, initially to cover maternity leave, to work across multiple clients, helping to maintain their accounting records.

We offer flexibility in the hours worked each week, the times of work, and the location where the work is carried out (including from home).

The role is, therefore, ideally suited to someone who wants very flexible working arrangements, enjoys being part of a small team, and is organised and able to work independently as required.

**Specific Responsibilities**

1. Process purchase invoices and credit card expenses

2. Process, and where applicable issue invoices

3. Create monthly and weekly reports as required

4. Chase outstanding debtors and maintain outstanding debtor reports

5. Obtain P.O where necessary on behalf of clients

6. Collate and process monthly payroll

7. Complete banking reconciliations

**Skills Required**:
1. Accounts record-keeping experience (ideally on Xero but training will be available).

2. Bookkeeping (ongoing training will be available).

3. Attention to detail, organised and accurate.

4. Outgoing and friendly

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
