The objects of Newcastle West End Children’s Community are to enhance the life chances of babies, children and young people who live in or has a close connection to the West End of Newcastle. This will be achieved by working with organisations and families to develop the capacity and skills of communities within the West End of Newcastle in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society.

Duties & Responsibilities
- To contribute to the West End Children's Community, ensuring that it fulfils its purpose and is consistent with its aims and objectives.
- To play a leading role in the wider WECC network.
- To ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- To support strategic and policy development.
- To work with the other Trustees, the Project Officer, and the Development Worker to ensure WECC meetings are conducted effectively.
- Champion and represent the West End Children's Community and attend other meetings where appropriate.

**Salary**: £0.01 per year
