Web Offset/ Sheetfed Printer

We are looking for a web offset printer who is hard working, reliable, self-motivated and has a fantastic attitude towards their work and takes pride in what they do.

**The role**:Will involve covering the No.1/No.2 & Press Assistant Position for holiday cover and production requirements when needed.

**Working**: Average 39 hour per week, working 3 shifts on for 3 weeks & every 4th week working 4 shifts on for 1-week, rotating days & nights. 12-hour shifts - 06.00am-18.00pm & 18.00pm-06.00am

**Skills required**:

- Experience of working within the print industry.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Follow job bag instructions.
- Good mechanical/technical aptitude.
- Recording and reporting maintenance problems to Maintenance & Shift Manager.
- Flexible.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to show initiative to make informed decisions.
- Willing to assist with technical issues on other machines as and when required.
- Good Housekeeping - Ensure work area is tidy and machinery kept in good order.
- Excellent attendance and timekeeping.
- Ensure that Company Policies, Health & Safety & Environment ISO procedures are enforced and adhered to.

Advantageous attributes would be:
Experience of Gammerler SV500/700 log stackers,

Formal technical printing qualifications, NVQ Qualification relating to printing processes.

247.5hrs (25 days based on 7.5hrs including bank holidays) increasing after 5 years’ service.
