Ahp Education and Training Lead

To lead the provision of AHP education, training and development across the organisation aligned to the ambitions set out in our AHP Development Plan maximising the potential of the AHP workforce.
To be responsible for the organisational oversight and reporting of AHP Education and Training performance measures, conducting in depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of data to provide a basis for quality improvement initiatives and transformational change programmes.
To provide oversight of placement activity to inform quality return sign offs with NHSE and HEI to secure accurate placement tariff associated income
To support the securing of our current and future AHP workforce supply.
To raise our regional and national profile as an exemplar for our AHP Learning & development, and Education and Training offer for AHPs.
To lead the embedding of an AHP culture of continuous quality improvement; where improvement is everyone’s business, with all AHPs feeling skilled, confident and empowered to make changes and improvements at work.
The post holder will lead the organisations AHP Education and Training Group established to ensure the training, education, and development needs of the AHP workforce are met and the potential of the Allied Health Professional workforce maximised.
The post holder will work closely with Professional AHP Leaders across divisional and Trust boundaries.
The post holder will build a strong relationship with the BNSSG AHP Faculty.
Provide leadership as an expert in AHP education and training.
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of AHP education and training and share expert knowledge with both staff in the organisation and wider stakeholders.
To develop, implement and evaluate AHP training.
Provide regular reports, thematic analysis and feedback to relevant committees and groups as required.
To identify data driven opportunities for improvement and address as appropriate including participation in audit, evaluation and improvement initiatives.
