Kitchen Porter

THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION.

wage is negotiable and dependent on age / experience

4 - 5 days per week mostly week days occasional weekend holiday cover

kitchen Porter/ Assistant, day time shifts no evenings.

Busy vibrant fun place to work,

support the Head Chef in daily tasks such as preparing vegetables and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy

To empty all the bins in the main kitchens and ensure that these are free from debris

Dishwashing tasks for example: loading and unloading of dishwashers (crockery/ cutlery/ glassware) including drying and correct storage

Ensure dishwashers and pot wash area is hygienically cleaned

To sweep and mop kitchen floor, pot-wash and cold prep areas

Any other duties designated by the Head Chef/ Senior staff

Experience an advantage, basic food and hygiene training given to the successful applicant

other duties include basic food preparation, cleaning, crockery, cutlery etc, occasional light baking, plating basic dishes

food supplied on duty or alternatives can be purchased at 50% whilst on duty, free tea and coffee, unlimited soft drinks
- In line with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, we do require all applicants to have the eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom. Documentation will be required at interview stage_
