**Job Title: Production Supervisor**

**Location: Ruthin - LL15**

**Salary: £30,000**

**Hours: Mon-Thurs - 6:30am - 4:30pM/Fri - 6:30am - 12:30pm + OT**

My client provides high quality timber products for the construction of industrial, commercial and domestic landscapes.

The role of Production Supervisor:
Reporting to the General Manager, main responsibilities include being accountable for all areas of Production across the site.

**Responsibilities of Production Supervisor include**:

- Manage daily production planning with assistance from the General Manager
- Accountable for the quality of production across all departments
- Hold daily meetings to discuss daily Production demand ensuring budget requirements are also adhered to.
- Maximise production output and be accountable for downtime and efficiency targets.
- Carry out weekly pre start checks of all Production machinery and report any issues to Maintenance Department when required.
- Assist with training new employees
- Keep up to date with relevant Health and Safety legislation
- Conduct the annual review of risk assessments and SSOW
- Ensure all staff in each Production department receive the relevant training
- Work closely with the General Manager to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, the law and best practice
- Coach and mentor 3 direct reports
- Weekly calibration of Production data

**Person Specification of Production Supervisor**:

- An experienced manufacturing sector Production Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader
- An experienced middle Manager, competent in performance improvement, discipline, grievance and capability processes.
- A “can do” attitude that motivates others, with a
- Experience of managing Health and Safety Compliance.
- Competent in delivering tool box talks
- Attention to detail and happy to go the extra mile to deliver on time

**Desirable**:

- IOSH Managing Safely Level 2
- ILM Level 2 in Team Leading
- First Aid Qualification
- Fire Warden Qualification
- FLT Trained
