**Field Surveyor**

Responsible for providing proactive direction, technical control and decision making on a portfolio of subsidence repairs, as well as, the production of the specification of repairs and ongoing technical direction throughout the life of the repair. To drive repairs to completion. Be a focal point for the subsidence team in relation to the technical aspects of the repair to enable them to manage their caseload of Subsidence files.

The role will also require assistance with regard to completion of first visits/diagnosis in their region and for second visits/trouble shooting on existing subsidence cases.

The role will also be key in the development of proactive processes in the Subsidence repair phase including the development of our subsidence repair network to handle our structure/subsidence repairs, working closely with our supplier management team in this respect.

**Location**:Remote within South East region

**Working pattern**: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00 (7.5 hours per day, with a 1 hour lunch, 37.5 hours per week)

**Salary**: £30,000pa - £45,000pa

**Qualification and experience**
- Previous high-level Customer Service experience.
- GCSE’s (C Grade or above) in English and Maths.
- Deep knowledge and extensive experience of the principals involved in the construction, repair and maintenance of domestic buildings is essential, within the subsidence area.
- Strong experience and a proven track record in multi-site management in the subsidence arena and engineering /principle designer experience for typical structural repairs is desirable.
- Experience in diagnosing subsidence, and specifying and overseeing subsidence repairs with an element of contractor support/management.
- Recognised construction and/ or engineering qualification / accreditation.
- CII Qualified to Cert CII level - desirable but not essential.
- Chartered accreditation is advantageous.
- ** two induction**s a month which take place on a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You will join other new starters from across the business for the 3-day, residential* induction, during which you will meet with Senior Leaders & Directors from all areas to gain a comprehensive overview of each product line, and how the different teams operate across the group. There will also be a lunch or meal booked with People & Culture, so you are able to have more social interaction with each other and some of the team.Location:
