**Just Life Sciences** are seeking experienced Lab Technician's for a Global company who are expanding rapidly. You will ideally have previous experience of working within a Lab Environment and be comfortable in working on a shift pattern of6am to 2pmM-F for 2 weeks and then alternating 12pm to 8pm M-F the following 2 weeks

You will be
- Responsible for working under cGMP and relevant Health and Safety procedures within the laboratory.
- Responsible for liaising with analysts to support in the preparation of required solutions for use in scheduled analysis, the preparation and weighing of blend jars, assisting in the set-up of analytical equipment ready for analyst use and any other requiredanalyst support tasks identified within the job holders capabilities.
- Liaising with analysts to discard solutions prepared, assist in general housekeeping of department and the review and replacement of laboratory consumables within the department.
- General system clean down and flushing of HPLC’s/ ULPLC’s and columns after use.
- Logging in of HPLC/UPLC/GC columns and issuing of column history sheets.
- To be able to plan and prioritise work load so that analytical testing runs smoothly, by feeding into analysts the solutions prepared when required and supporting analysts in day to day workload as required.

**Experience/Qualifications**

Recent Science Graduate looking of their first Lab role, or

a minimum 5 GCSE’s (C or above), with one being in a scientific discipline and relevant experience working in a GMP environment for 3 years or more. X

**SKILLS & APTITUDES**:
Attention to detail, good written and oral communication skills. Must have a "can do attitude" and be a "completer/ finisher". A strong desire to continually improve processes and systems is also desirable.
