Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well-established client based in Ferndown. They are looking for a full time Customer Service Advisor to take ownership and responsibility for breakdown and service calls, ensuring excellent customer service by handling in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.

**Duties and Responsibilities of Customer Service Advisor role**:

- Log breakdowns
- Liaise with the engineer to schedule repairs ensuring the most effective use of the engineers’ time whilst managing the expectation of the customer
- Establish the most suitable method of communication and ensure the customer is informed of the engineers expected arrival
- Using the daily reporting system, follow up outstanding jobs with our own engineers and sub-contractors, ensuring they are carried out within an acceptable timeframe
- Raise any follow up jobs from accepted estimates and schedule the work with the engineer
- Arrange and distribute monthly servicing schedules
- Process jobs for manufacturer campaigns
- Assist with other administrative duties within the department as required

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Excellent telephone manner, polite and professional
- Attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills and a methodical approach
- Good knowledge of geographical area
- Good at problem solving / resolving queries
- Ability to work as part of a team

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Full Time, Permanent role
- £26,000 per annum rising to £27,971.00 once trained
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Monday - Friday 8.00 am - 5.00 pm with the flexibility of working until 5.30 pm
- Free Parking
