**What is the Role?**

We’re looking for a Telesales Team Leader to support and manage an in-house Telesales sales / retentions team responsible for SME sales (gas and electricity) across the island of Ireland. In this role you will:

- manage the day-to-day activity and performance of the SME Direct Telesales team
- help recruit, train and develop the team, providing leadership and guidance, both technical and motivational
- act as first escalation point of contact and when required, provide cover on the phones
- deliver agreed sales and retention targets and appropriate qualitative KPIs on the team’s day to day performance
- operate a quality monitoring process and ensure all commercial and compliance standards within the Telesales team are maintained

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- experience of business development and management within a call centre environment, with an understanding of regulation and compliance in said environment
- the ability to operationalise new campaigns into a team, meeting required process and governance requirements
- the ability to price for current NI / ROI (gas and electric) commercial meter types
- strong commercial, sales, analytical and communication skills
