I am looking for a Remote PHP Developer to join a well-established internet company based in Ireland.
**BENEFITS** :up to €50,000, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service), free parking, pension, life cover and health cover - fully remote, flexible working hours, standard working hours 9-5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch
They are looking to train up the right developer on their full-stack and systems, so need someone who is eager to learn new skills and technologies. And due to the nature of the business, this will include learning of the protocols of internet technologiessuch as HTTP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, TLS and DNS. They will also be getting you up to speed with dependency and package management solutions for both PHP and JavaScript, and be teaching you asynchronous JavaScript with Promises.

The company hosts a dynamic and unique environment and are lookingfor developers who are keen to keep up to date with emerging technologies and help improve existing systems, and extend product ranges.
This role will be full remote.
**Key Skills**
- Experience with OO PHP
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles
- Core JavaScript experience and understanding of concepts such as prototypal inheritance
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with writing modular reusable code, not limited to any framework
- Unit testing experience with PHPUnit
- Experience with CSS and HTML
- Great communication skills, written and verbal
- High Attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines

**Bonus Skills**
- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience with RESTful Web Service
- Asynchronous JavaScript
- NoSQL databases (Memcache, Redis or Elasticsearch)
- Knowledge of the protocols of internet technologies (HTTP, SMTP, FTP, SSH, TLS and DNS)
- Experience with PHP Standards Recommendations
- Experience with NoSQL Databases (Redis, Elasticsearch, Memcache)
