Sales and Vehicle Hire Assistant

Are you a self-motivated individual who is looking to further a career within a successful well-established company?

An opportunity has arisen for a highly-motivated Hire and Sales Assistant to join our Elgin office on a full time basis.

Working in a busy and stimulating environment, you will have a hands-on approach, assisting in the day to day control running of the Elgin branch, engaged in the rental, sales, MOT and repair of light commercial vehicles.

Completing accurate customer charge invoices

Managing MOT and repair schedules

Administration - maintain records, spreadsheets and databases, raise invoices, statements, process weekly reports. Maintaining web site, Collect and process post.

Customer Service - meeting and greeting customers and clients; answering and processing telephone calls in a professional and efficient manner.

Organisation - maintaining and co-ordinating diaries; ensure office is tidy; filing

Ad-hoc secretarial and administration responsibilities

Developing our social media sites to promote the development of our business

You will be well presented with key attributes including:
Be able to work towards deadlines and targets

Proactive, hard-working and conscientious with strong work ethic, drive and ambition

Strong customer service skills

Accurate typing

Professional and friendly telephone manner

Excellent attention to detail

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word/Outlook/Excel/Publisher and Access)

Ability to prioritise

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Good time keeping

Flexible approach in the working environment

Willingness to take on new tasks

Team player

Ability to use own initiative and work independently

Prepared to assist colleagues and other departments as and when required

Full Driving licence

Pay: From £24,000.00 per year
