Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team. A vacancy has arisen for the role of part-time Major Incident Room Indexer within EMSOU Major Crime.

The main purpose of this role is to process, index, research and analyse information created during a HOLMES-based major investigation in order to set up an appropriate HOLMES database to assist the enquiry.

To work within the Casualty Bureau Environment should the force activate in response to a major disaster.

**Key skills and experience required**:
Must have a high standard of keyboard skills, including word processing and typing.

Must have experience in the research and analysis of information and the ability to identify relevant points.

Must have experience in Windows-based operating systems or equivalent.

Must have GCSE C English language or equivalent or previous experience of writing reports and correspondence.

Must have successfully completed or be willing to undertake and successfully complete an Initial HOLMES Course.
