Hi I'm Olivia from Pod Vision, a trusted family photography studio in Hastings. Over the past three years, I've had the joy of capturing countless smiles and heartfelt moments. As we continue to grow, I'm looking for a freelancer to join me on this wonderful journey.

**Please Note**:
This is a **freelance position**; you will be self-employed and not an employee of Pod Vision. The nature of our work means that there are no set hours each week. Some weeks or months might be packed, while others could be quiet. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible and looking for an opportunity to fill extra hours alongside other commitments.

**What I’m looking for**:

- **Proficiency** in Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
- A **keen eye for photography** and comfortable handling a camera.
- Great people skills, especially interacting with children.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent people skills are crucial, especially when interacting with children and families. You should be someone who can make clients feel at ease, with a friendly, bubbly demeanor.
- **Communication**: You need to be articulate, both verbally and in writing. Clear communication will help in understanding client needs and delivering exceptional service.
- **Work Ethic and Organisation**: As a hard worker who is organised and reliable, you'll fit right in. Since it’s just you and me, your role is pivotal in keeping the business running smoothly.
- **Openness to Feedback**: An open, non-defensive attitude to constructive criticism is essential. I'm looking for someone who views feedback as a tool for growth and learning, and who is eager to improve their craft and professional skills continuously.
- **Commitment to Growth**: This role is ideal for someone who is not just looking for a job but is eager to join and grow with the business as we expand. You’ll be integral to Pod Vision, shaping its future with your contributions.

**Your role** initially will involve assisting with culling images in Bridge, editing in Photoshop, and creating videos in Premiere Pro. I'll guide you through my specific style, aiming for you to understand and replicate the essence of Pod Vision’s imagery.

As we progress, I hope to have you shadow my shoots. This hands-on experience is invaluable, and I'm keen to help you grow into a fantastic photographer who might eventually lead shoots in our studio, cutting a share of the profits.
