The Leeds School of Arts at Leeds Beckett University is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Dance.

This position is on a fixed-term basis, covering a six-month sabbatical leave.

We are looking for an experienced dance artist/teacher who can play a pivotal role in enhancing our vibrant Dance and Choreography programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The applicant should have relevant dance knowledge, dance industry experience and experience of teaching dance in Higher Education or in professional contexts.

They will have an excellent working knowledge of dance technique and creative practice and/or dance studies and scholarly approaches to research in dance.

Our academic community offers students and faculty opportunities to showcase their talents at national and international festivals while fostering a supportive and energetic research environment.

As part of the broader Leeds School of Arts, we provide a wide range of courses, spanning from Music Performance and Production through to Music Technology, encompassing undergraduate to PhD levels.
