Security Officer

We are currently looking to hire a site security guard on a 6 month fixed term contract working weekend nights (24 hours per week).

The purpose of the role is to ensure the security of the site by carrying out the required searches, checks, recording & control measures to the required standards and frequency.

The key responsibilities are;
- To ensure the site is secure at all times by carrying out all standard work instructions and agreed service levels
- To ensure all visitors and contractors are welcomed to the site and carry out any required checks and permits to work.
- To input records of specific activities through the IPAQ of all required searches, checks, recording & control measures are to the required standards and frequency.
- To complete all required logs and record activities to appropriate systems.Respond to verbal and written requests in relation to visitors and contractors.
- Alert appropriate internal and external parties to any security threat, fire risk and intruders on site.
- To liaise with internal and external parties to ensure that out of hours standards are maintained.
- To work with other security colleagues to ensure the effective security of the site.
- To monitor CCTV and carry out camera sweeps in accordance with standard work instructions.
- Carry out regular perimeter checks in line with standard work instructions.Ensure effective housekeeping in all areas.
- Knowledge of site security and client security requirements
- An understanding of support systems technology
- Kowledge of fire and safety requirements
- The ability to work to specific procedures and work instructions

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Night shift
- Weekends only
