**Essential Requirements**:

- Bring your expertise in event management, spanning special and mass participation events
- Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in event fundraising, with a proven track record of elevating fundraising income through events
- Showcase your prowess in event marketing, encompassing digital channels
- Demonstrate proficiency in utilising CRM systems such as Raisers Edge or similar
- Have a solid understanding of GDPR regulations
- A driving licence and access to your own transport

**Desirable Skills**:

- Familiarity with the care sector adds depth to your insight
- Proven experience in securing sponsorships for events
- Possession of project management or event-related qualifications
- Ability to effectively manage volunteers
- Understanding of donor stewardship principles

**Your Role**:
As the Events and Engagement Fundraiser, you'll spearhead our fundraising efforts, leading the development and execution of a diverse range of events aimed at generating income, engaging supporters, and amplifying awareness of Guild Care's mission. Here's what you'll be doing:
**Strategic Planning**:

- Contribute to organisational and fundraising strategy, with a laser focus on driving fundraising growth
- Craft innovative and captivating event concepts that align seamlessly with Guild Care's goals and resonate with our supporters

**Event Management**:

- Take the reins in planning, promoting, and executing fundraising events, ensuring maximum participation and income generation
- Evaluate event performance and analyse ROI to continuously enhance the effectiveness of our events programme

**Relationship Building**:

- Forge robust relationships with event participants, sponsors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to bolster fundraising performance and nurture long-term engagement

**Budget Management**:

- Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and adherence to organisational policies
- Provide input for annual budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities

**Volunteer Coordination**:

- Recruit, train, and lead a team of volunteers to support event activities, ensuring seamless execution and participant satisfaction

**Brand Ambassadorship**:

- Serve as an external ambassador for Guild Care, representing the charity at events and spotlighting our impact in the community
