**The Role**

Within the global Automotive & Industrial business unit of Ricardo, there is an open opportunity for a Cash & Banking Administrator in the working capital team based in Shoreham. This role will be responsible for the timely and accurate recording of all bank transactions, posting to SAP and subsequent reconciliation to the bank accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Daily posting of all cash receipts globally to the correct client accounts and updating Accounts Receiverable (AR) master file to reflect cash received.
- Daily posting of all cash payments globally including payroll, Accounts Payable (AP) direct debits and scheduled payments and other sundry entries.
- Reconciliation of all bank accounts globally ensuring all open items are allocated and any queries on transactions are resolved.
- Reporting bank balances, produce weekly cash flows and work with Senior AR Administrator to ensure these are correctly reported in weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Support internal and external audits, as required.
- Provide credit control support required by the Senior Accounts Receiverable Administrator or Global Working Capital Manager, together with other adhoc duties.

**Key Competencies and Experience**
- At least 3 years’ experience of working in cash and banking or Treasury environment
- Experience of SAP Financial accounting system.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables etc.)
- Highly numerate with a keen attention to detail.
- Methodical and accurate approach, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Able to work autonomously.
