**About the Position**:
**Are you an experienced Library Assistant ready to take the next step into a professional role? - **Assistant Librarian** to work on our Birmingham University Campus. This is a high-profile role and one that calls for extensive experience of working as a Library Assistant.**We’ll give you membership of the CILIP and even put you through all the required qualifications,** and we’re looking to move to a brand-new library in September so this in an incredibly exciting time to be joining us.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the Campus Librarian
- Delivering library-sessions to students
- Supporting library-users at all levels
- Liaising with academic staff and students
- Analysing, manipulating and interpreting data, to produce reports, such as analysis of workshop feedback
- Plus, various other duties which can be found in the attached job-description

**About You**:
**This role would be a great fit you’re currently a Library Assistant looking to make that next step. It is essential that you’ve relevant experience of working in library, information and education environments, and also have experience of delivering to students**, as this is the main crux of the role.We’d love you to be able to tick the following boxes, too:
- Awareness of the HE environment.
- Awareness of some of relevant technologies: LMS, ebook libraries, research databases, generic and specialist search engines, VLEs and other eLearning solutions; web and video document production.
- General education to degree level.
- Professional qualification accredited by CILIP or equivalent, or professional registration (but we can put you through this if required)
