**JOB OVERVIEW**

A well-established construction company is ideally looking for a Groundworks Gang (Site Manager, Groundworker, Labourer and Excavator Operator) to carry out a range of projects from pipe laying, concreting, laying tarmac / slabs and kerbs etc.

As a Groundworks Gang (Site Manager, Groundworker, Labourer and Excavator Operator) you will join a successful construction and groundworks sub-contractor.

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**

As a Groundworks Gang (Site Manager, Groundworker, Labourer and Excavator Operator) you all will have the following skills and experience relevant for your position within the team:

- Previous Groundwork experience is essential in some or all of the following areas:

- Deep Drainage
- Pipe Laying
- Laying Tarmac
- Concreting
- Brickwork to DPC level
- Hard Landscaping/Externals
- Slabbing & Kerb Laying
- Valid CSCS card - essential
- Own safety boots - essential
- Valid CPCS / NPORS certification for above and below 10 Ton 360-degree Excavator - preferably with Lifting Operation
- CAT training desirable
- Disc cutter experience desirable
- Manual Handling training desirable
- Traffic Marshal / Slinger signaller Banksman experience would be useful
- Good attitude towards Health & Safety
- Good communications skills
