Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Property Management group based in Cheshire in order to recruit a Group Accountant. **Role**:
Working with the Financial Controller to ensure that group accounting and financial reporting continuously improves.
**Responsibilities;**
- Consolidating Group accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Preparing board reports, including qualitative and quantitative analysis on variances
- Leading the preparation of the annual audited financial statements, and supporting working papers, while maintaining good and open relationships with external auditors
- Preparing external financial reporting resulting from current and future funding arrangements
- Supporting the Financial Reporting Lead in the provision of technical guidance to all internal stakeholders and contribute to the Group’s accounting policies
- Supporting in establishing a control-based environment
- Providing effective line management, coaching, development and performance management of direct reports

**Person:

- CCAB or CIMA qualified
- Previous experience of consolidating accounts within excel
- Experience of producing statutory accounts
