**Workchain** are currently looking for Machine/exstrusion Operatives for our prestigious client based in the **Desborough
- Kettering area.**
Our Client pride their-selves in their manufacturing capability and through their continual investment, we have remained at the forefront of technology in the extrusion, print and conversion processes.
**The role**:
- To ensure the smooth running of the extrusion machinery.
- Reading job specification sheets and setting up machines to run jobs.
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions and quality issues.
- Ensuring target output is achieved with excellent quality.
- Accurate documentation to be kept on all jobs.
- To assist trainees and other team members.
- General housekeeping, palletisation of finished goods, checking polymer types coincide with job sheet and customer requirements.
- Preparing cores and other materials for present and next jobs.
- Health and safety and any other reasonable request within trained capabilities.
**Pay Rate and working hours**:
- Shift pattern is 4 on 4 off, Roatation of days and nights on a weekly basis.
- Day shifts 6AM Start and the Night Shift is 6PM start, these are 12 hour shifts.
- Pay Rate is £11 an hour
- additional £2.75 per hour *attendance bonus, which is paid every 4 weeks.
**What we are looking from you**:
- Machine Operative experience
- Self motivated
- exceptional punctuality
- Great attention to detail.
- Training can be provided, so experience isn't necessary but is preffered.
