Apprentice Electrical Fitter

The successful Apprentice Electrical Fitter must demonstrate the ability to work to the high standards set by the Company and you will be working in an Engineering environment on road rail excavators.

**Duties**
- You will receive training to fit and install electrical components to heavy vehicles
- You will be trained to undertake electrical diagnostics using manual or laptop devices
- To commit to punctual attendance for day-to-day work and day release training at college

**Skills Required**:

- 4 GCSEs A-C grade would be desirable
- IT literate
- Have a keen interest in a career in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Have a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Good communication skills
- Able to continue to learn and take on new tasks as and when presented
- Able to work as part of a team

**Location**

Based in Company Premises on the Gilchrist Thomas Industrial Estate, Blaenavon.

**Hours of Work**

Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 16:15 or 07:00 - 17:15 (1/2 Hr Lunch Unpaid)

Minimum 39 Hour Week before any overtime is paid.

**Overtime**

Time & half for hours worked Monday - Saturday.

Double time for hours worked Sunday.
