Bench Joiner

We are a premium design and renovations company based in Alresford, Hampshire looking to add a Bench Joiner, who knows traditional joinery, to work on joinery for our refurbishment projects (residential mainly, grade 2 listed and period properties).

Our workshop is based in Alresford

This is role involves:

- Working closely with designers to deliver a beautiful end project
- Familiar with and operated morticer, spindle moulder, planers, thicknesser, tenoner, panel saw, edge bander, band saw, and hand tools and a variation of finishing tools, and has experience working on bespoke woodwork projects
- Experience and knowledge of manufacturing bespoke products such as doors, windows, room dividers, and stairs
- Experience of working with hardwood, softwood, MDF, plywood, veneered boards, veneers, laminates and solid surfaces
- Ability to work from drawings
- Estimating the materials needed for a job, producing cutting lists
- Ability to work to high standards, managing time and resources effectively
- Attention to detail is required and the ability to work independently is a must
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work without supervision
- A flexible, and enthusiastic attitude
- Experience of fitting preferred
- Monitoring project progress
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
- Workshop hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 17:00pm

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
