**Building Surveyor - Milton Keynes - Up to £45,000 (Dependant on experience). Housing / Relocation allowance on offer.**

Our client is a Property and Estate Management organisation that has an impressive portfolio of managing residential, commercial, historical, educational, agricultural buildings as well as parks. Due to expansion, they are seeking a Building Surveyor to work within their Estates Team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaising between client’s customers and contractors;
- Responding to reactive maintenance issues in a timely manner;
- Chairing and arranging meetings and taking minutes.
- Obtaining specialist information and reports;
- Managing budgets and ensuring value for money;
- Responsible for monitoring contractor’s performance against time, cost and quality;
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation;
- Maintaining statistical and financial records;
- Planning, organising, overseeing and managing, scheduled maintenance contracts and projects;
- Creating maintenance procedures;
- Supervising contractors and assessing their performance;
- Post inspecting completed works to ensure they are to the correct standard and compliance;
- Providing budget costs and estimates for the replacement of mechanical plant and equipment;
- Carry out site visits and surveys;
- Analysing work sheets and reports and assessing their validity.
- Ability to diagnose building defects
